Universe is a SaaS scale-up based in Finland and recently opened up an office in Amsterdam as well. Their innovative collaboration software helps companies become digital workplaces. They have been named one of the most promising start-ups in Europe and are VC backed. Their CEO moved to Holland to open the Amsterdam office and to build a top performing commercial team to continue their exponential growth. That’s where Nobel came in.
Universe approached us with their initial requirement when they were looking to hire an Account Executive to serve new clients in the EMEA Enterprise market. After a few meetings, they decided to give the partnership with Nobel a go.
How we helped:
We first started with creating an ideal candidate profile for them. We zoomed in on the required experience, education, background, network, personality traits and cultural fit. For this position, it was important that we recruited an absolute top performer, so we added a few additional requirements such as: at least 100% quota attainment track record in the past 3 years, and awards such as Presidents Club.
After we agreed upon the profile, we hired a professional copywriter to assist us with writing a spot-on job advertisement. We then advertised the vacancy in several, proven channels, approached passively looking candidates within our network and headhunted potential candidates outside our direct network.
Our efforts resulted in a high-quality shortlist, from which Universe eventually even decided to hire two Account Executives, instead of one. We later also placed a VP Marketing, a VP Customer Success and are currently working on several other positions within their commercial team.
